About Altamaha Technical College
The Department of Technical and Adult Education exists to promote the economic well being of Georgia. This charge is to be carried out through the implementation of occupational and technical education programs below the baccalaureate level, and via a full range of adult education programs. Pursuant to that charge, Altamaha Tech is the state's agent to carry out the mission in this service delivery area (Appling, Jeff Davis, Long and Wayne counties).
The mission of Altamaha Tech is to provide for the economic empowerment of the citizens of our service delivery area through a variety of workforce development services that include technical education, customized training for business and industry, and a range of adult literacy programs.
