The following books are included in your tuition: Residential Construction Academy: Basic Principles for Construction; Workbook/Lab Manual for Basic Principles for Construction; 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations; Understanding Construction Drawings; Carpentry (Residential Construction Academy); and RCA Carpentry Workbook.
This course can be taken on a PC or a Mac. You will need Internet Explorer (versions 5.5 through 8) or Firefox (any version). You will need to use Windows Vista or XP. You will also need Adobe Flash and Adobe Reader. In addition, you will need the latest version of QuickTime.

You will not need any carpentry experience to participate in this program. You will need to own or purchase some basic tools, lumber, and nails for the workshop assessments.
