****NOTE TO THOSE AGE 65 or OVER:
By action of the NC General Assembly, effective August 1, 2010, North Carolina residents 65 years of age and older may take one continuing education fee waived class per semester, excluding self-supporting classes. This changes from a previous fee waiver allowance of 96 contact hours per semester. Semester dates are: Spring 1/1 thru 5/1; Summer 5/16 thru 8/14; and Fall 8/15 thru 12/31. Seniors that have already enrolled in one class during a semester will be required to pay the registration fee for additional classes. Questions regarding a senior's eligibility should be directed to the CCED office.
