Founded in 1933 as a beacon of hope during the Great Depression, The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School has given our community education, enlightenment, and enjoyment for 75 years.
The Adult School is a nonprofit educational organization that offers a wide array of affordable, high-quality classes, lectures, and trips to more than 1,600 local residents each semester. Categories include Business & Finance, Computers, Languages, Creative Arts, Culinary Arts, Home & Garden, Performing Arts, Life Skills and Recreation & Fitness. We are now pleased to also be offering a wide array of online courses.
