University of New Hampshire Professional Development & Training offers a broad range of one-day seminars, short-term certificate programs, conferences and special institutes, and on-site customized training to individuals and organizations throughout New Hampshire and the surrounding New England region. Offerings are designed to enhance professional knowledge and practical skills. Over 250 seminars and conferences are held each semester on the Durham campus, at Pease International Tradeport in Porsmouth, and in downtown Manchester. A variety of topics are offered, including: management, leadership, and supervision; human resources and train the trainer; business communications; marketing; professional coaching; project management, computers, CAD, desktop publishing, and web design/development; surveying, soil science, and town planning; teaching and school administration; health and human services; engineering management; workplace safety; real estate; and many more.
