To take an online course, please follow these easy steps...

Step One: Find the course you want

Enter the name of the class in the search box to the right or click on the "Courses" link above to view all current classes. When you find the class you want, write down the course prefix and number (CWRT 17), section code (801) and four-digit class number (4089). Example: A to Z Grant Writing, CWRT 17-801 #4089.


Step Two: Online Orientation

You must complete online orientation (enrollment) to access the class on the start date. Once you have chosen the class you would like to take, click on the "enroll now" button in the right margin or at the bottom of the class description. Select the date you would like to start and click continue. You will then need to choose a username (valid email address) and password (if you have completed a previous Ed2go orientation, you can sign in with the same username and password). You will not be able to access your course without completing online orientation.


Step Three: Register & Pay with College of Lake County

Using the four-digit class number you wrote down in step one (such as 4089). If you have a valid College of Lake County student ID number, go to www.clcillinois.edu and log in under myStudentCenter. Under the enroll tab enter the four-digit class number in the box in the middle of the page. Follow the next few prompts to conclude the enrollment. Once the registration is completed you will be able to pay for the course. Under the finances tab choose a payment option. Note: If you do not register and pay with the College of Lake County, you will lose access to the class after one week. (To receive a CLC ID number, click on "About Us" then click on "Apply for Admission to CLC." Complete the short application online. Your CLC ID will be generated within 48 hours).


Step Four: Accessing the online class

At noon on your class start date, return to the Ed2Go homepage at www.ed2go.com/clc . Click on Classroom and log in with your username and password. Choose Enter Classroom. At the completion of the class, you may print out a certificate of completion.
