About College of the Sequoias

Business, Industry and Community Services at the College of the Sequoias offers Online Courses to allow students both on and off campus to acquire valuable new skills from the comfort and convenience of their home or office. The department is actively engaged in increasing workforce development in the Tulare and Kings County areas. The Division offers a wide range of short-term, low-cost workshops in topic areas that include a full range of online courses, cultural enrichment, staying healthy, creative endeavors, personal finance, workplace skills improvement, computer skills, crafts and hobbies. These fee-based, not-for-credit workshops are open to the public and, with the exception of online courses, are generally held in the evenings and on Saturdays. Business, Industry & Community Services also delivers fee-based, customized training to businesses at the work site or on campus. This training is offered throughout the year and is not affected by the academic schedule of the college. Most of the training offered is in the form of intense, short-term, not-for-credit classes.
