Learn how to create an effective PowerPooint presentation. You’ll cover essential elements of the program, like working with graphics, and move on to more complex skills like using tables, transitions, and animations.
Develop an understanding of best email practices as they pertain to sending and managing messages. Work to manage calendars and collaborate with others across the program.

Elizabeth Ann Nofs is the designer and developer of the Computer Mama guides. Her research on how men and women approach computer learning provided the foundation for the Comma Method of training, as well as The Computer Mama Show, a pilot produced with WFUM/TV28 (PBS), Flint, Michigan.
She’s the author of 44 books, including: The Computer Mama Guide to Computers (2001), The Comma Method of Computer Training (2003), The Comma Teachers Edition (2003), and The Complete Computer Guide (2005) and the Complete Computer Guides for Microsoft Office 2007 and Office 2010 (MOS) certification training. Elizabeth received her B.A. degree in Biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
To enroll in the Administrative Specialist with Microsoft Office Specialist 2010 Certification Training program, you should have basic computer skills and should be comfortable using an Internet browser and selecting commands from a menu or toolbar. You should be able to manage files, including saving, updating, and backing up files. This program is for you if you're an office worker, manager, entrepreneur, or other professional who wants to start using advanced Microsoft Office skills immediately. This program is also suitable for you if you're looking to learn about this software and expand your job possibilities.
This program can only be taken on a PC. It is not compatible with a Mac. It is compatible with the Windows XP and later operating systems and IE 7 and later browsers. You need a high-speed Internet connection and e-mail account.

This course cannot be completed with the Microsoft Word 2010 Starter or Excel 2010 Starter, which comes free on new PCs. This course requires the full retail version of Word 2010 and Excel 2010. Otherwise, all the materials you need are included, and their cost will be covered in your tuition. Ed2go will ship all materials ground service upon enrollment.
