OMCP® Email Marketing and Automation Professional Requirements / Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this program, but before enrolling you should have a good grasp of the English language, and be comfortable using e-mail and the Internet.

 

This program can be taken on a Mac, PC, or up to date mobile device (iOS 6 upwards, Android 4.4 upwards). It is compatible with the Windows XP and later operating systems, and works best on Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers. There are no specific computer requirements other than an internet connection, an e-mail account, and Flash 10.4 upwards for desktop viewing. All content is delivered online. No additional materials are required for this program. You will receive an OMCP certification exam voucher upon enrollment. Only one voucher available per student.

Can I register for programs if I am an international student?

Yes, because ed2go programs are online you never have to actually travel to the school. Most schools offer telephone or online registration.

How long does it take to complete a program?

All of our programs are self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start them when you want and finish them at your own pace. When you register, you receive nine (9) months to complete this program.

Do I have to buy additional materials?

No additional materials are required. There is occasionally suggested reading, but these books are not required for the completion of the course. 

Can I get financial assistance?

ed2go courses are non-credit courses, so they do not qualify for federal aid. In some states, vocational rehab or workforce development boards will pay for qualified students to take our courses. Additionally, some students may qualify for financial assistance when they enroll, if they meet certain requirements. 

What happens when I complete the program?

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. You can also register for the OMCP® certification exam and use the voucher you receive with this program.

Am I guaranteed a job?

ed2go programs will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. We don’t provide direct job placement services, but our facilitators and career counselors will help you build your resume and are available to give advice on finding your first job. Facilitators will also be available to use as a professional reference upon completion of the program. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.

Who will be my instructor?

The instructors of the course are successful working professionals within the industry. They are available via a live forum where you can ask questions about the curriculum and receive responses to your questions within two business days.

What software or hardware do I need in order to take online programs and what are the system requirements?

In order to take our online programs, you must have access to a computer or mobile device and the Internet. You can access the program contents from any Web-enabled computer. You don’t have to use the same computer to log-in to the program every time. We recommend that you have a word-processing program (Microsoft Word is best) and the latest version of Chrome of Firefox.

Can I use a Mac?

Yes, you can use a Mac for this program.

How do I start my training?

After you begin the training, Ed2Go will provide you with a custom code. You will use that code on the registration page.

Do I earn certifications?

As you progress through your program, you will earn multiple certificates. You will earn a Digital Marketing Foundations Certification after completing any six of the available eight units (you have access to all), and you will receive an additional discipline specific Practitioner Certificate for each Practitioner unit you complete. This program will also prepare you for the OMCP® certification exam (voucher provided with your tuition).

How can I publicize my accomplishments?

You will be able to download a PDF version of every certificate you earn. Additionally, your profile has an ‘Add to My LinkedIn’ feature to add your certifications to your LinkedIn profile.

Does this help prepare me for OMCP®?

This program will prepare you for the OMCP® certification exam. You will receive your voucher upon successful completion of the program. When you complete the program, you can contact OMCP® and provide them with your voucher information. Only one voucher per student.

What if I don't have enough time to complete my program within the time frame provided?

The time allotted to complete your program has been calculated based on the number of hours for each program, so don't worry too much about not completing in time. If, after a concerted effort, you are still unable to complete, your Student Advisor will help you work out a suitable completion date. Please note that a fee will be charged for an extension.
