The global cloud computing market is projected to reach $270 billion by 2020. And since so many businesses are moving to cloud services, professionals with cloud skills are increasingly in demand. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, “Employment of network and computer systems administrators is projected to grow 12 percent from 2012 to 2022.” This program provides approximately 120 hours of online instruction. It’s designed for IT professionals with previous training, certification, or work experience. The program provides a thorough understanding designing, deploying, monitoring and managing Microsoft’s Private Cloud environments. It is closely aligned with the highly regarded, Microsoft MCSA Private Cloud industry certification, including MS exams 70-246 and 70-247. This in-depth program focuses exclusively on Microsoft Private Cloud computing environments, starting with the fundamentals of Private Cloud and Service Center and building from there.

It encompasses key areas including designing and deploying environments, systems infrastructure, troubleshooting, resource management, security, systems management, and business service level management. The rich learning environment incorporates a blend of visual, auditory, and hands-on learning, extending beyond just rote memorization. This program is recommended for IT industry professionals with prior experience or training or certification in Microsoft server administration. All students should have a basic understanding of how to use a computer, in addition to basic networking skills. These skills can be learned in programs such as CompTIA A+ and Network+.

To earn MS Private Cloud certification, individuals must have a current MCSA Server 2012 credential, and this program is best for individuals who already have that certification. Individuals without a current MCSA Server 2012 certification should consider taking the MCSA Server 2012 with Private Cloud program. 

This program will prepare you for the Microsoft Private Cloud industry certification exams, 70-246 and 70-247. After completing the program, you're encouraged to set up your own exam dates and times at a testing center close to you. An exam voucher is included in the cost of tuition.

This program can be taken on a Mac or a PC. 

On a PC, it is compatible with Windows XP and later operating systems and IE 7 and later browsers.

On a Mac, the program is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 and later operating systems, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari 5.1.9 or later browsers.

We highly recommend that you use Chrome and Firefox in place of other web browsers.

Does this program prepare for a certification?

Yes, this program prepares learners for the two (2) Microsoft Private Cloud certification exams, 70-246 and 70-247. Successfully passing these two exams allows the individual to add the “Private Cloud” credential to an existing Microsoft MCSA certification. The ed2go Online Training Programs give you the training for the exam. Once you complete your online program work, you can move forward to take the certification exam. CompTIA certification testing is administered by third-party vendors such as Prometric and Virtual University Enterprises (VUE), two leading providers of technology-based testing. Both offer a network of computer-based testing centers with thousands of locations worldwide. An exam voucher is included in the cost of tuition.

What if I don't have enough time to complete my program within the time frame provided?

The time allotted to complete your program has been calculated based on the number of hours for each program, so don't worry too much about not completing in time.
