Founded in 1958 to train professionals working in the space program, Florida Institute of Technology is now a world renowned independent technological university that provides quality education, furthers knowledge through basic and applied research, and serves the diverse needs of our local, state, national and international constituencies. The Continuing Education Department is the entrepreneurial arm of the university, and home of Professional Development Programs.
