About Fort Myers Institute of Technology
Fort Myers Institute of Technology (FMIT) has been an established post secondary school for over 45 years in Southwest Florida. As part of The School District of Lee County, the school offers over 30 occupational training certificate programs from Automotve Technology to Web Design. The FMIT mission is to provide high quality career and technical training, in order to prepare students for current and emerging industries, delivered by a professional and caring staff in a positive learning environment. The school offers hands on training, small classes, convenient schedules, affordable tuition, and enrollment several times throughout the year. Financial aid is available for qualified programs, as well as industry certification and job placement assisitance.
