About Katy Independent School District
For the past 31 years, Katy ISD has operated a community education program that has grown to include almost 3000 participants per semester. The purpose of Community Education is to provide the general public with learning opportunities. These opportunities include self-improvement, enrichment, recreation, and academic courses. Classes include basic education for adults, recreation, arts and crafts, personal safety, skills for everyday living, academic, business skills, finance, and computer awareness training.
