Welcome to Learn4Life, provided by Spokane County Library District
Five free courses a year with your Spokane County Library District library card!
How do I enroll in a course?
Learn4Life offers a wide range of highly interactive courses that you can take entirely online. As a library card holder in good standing, you are entitled to enroll in up to five courses per calendar year at no cost. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.
- Click “Enroll Now” next to the course of your choice. You can find courses by browsing through the categories on the left of your screen or by using the search bar above.
- Select your course start date and click “Continue.”
- If you have never taken a Learn4Life (or Ed2Go) course: enter your email address in the New Student area, and click “Create Account.” Complete the Account and Student Information page and then click “Continue.” If you are a returning student: enter your account email and password and then click “Sign In.”
- Enter your library barcode and click “Use Library Card”.
How do I drop or transfer a course?
You do not have to do anything to drop a course, but it may still count toward your five total for the year. You may stop attending courses at any time. If you do not access the second lesson, it does not count toward your total of five courses per calendar year.
After enrolling you have 2 weeks to complete lessons 1 and 2. If you do not complete lessons 1 and 2 by the end of the 2nd week you will be automatically dropped from the course. Students who are dropped from a course will be able to enroll in the course during a later session.
You are not able to transfer courses, but you can still enroll in a course two weeks after the class start date.
If you have additional questions, email or call us.
Due to licensing restrictions, City of Spokane and Liberty Lake residents
must access similar services through their home library's site using that library card.
