About Madonna University

Madonna University, a four-year, private liberal arts university, has fostered the development of its students for over 70 years through career preparation, combined with a liberal arts education and service learning. Students can choose from 70 undergraduate and 27 graduate programs in the colleges of business, nursing, education, science and math, arts and humanities, and social sciences. The Office of Continuing Education and Professional Studies offers onsite and online classes in everything from accounting and art, to teacher certification and web design. With a student/faculty ratio of 16:1, Madonna students enjoy individual attention from caring professors with real-world experience. Classes meet days, evenings and online to fit students’ busy schedules. When it comes to added value, Madonna University boasts faculty who know you by name, a first-year experience to ease the transition to college, a writing center, campus ministry, a variety of clubs, community service projects, the Ford Technology Center, and 11 men’s and women’s athletic teams to cheer on to victory. While Madonna is proud of its strong Catholic heritage and Franciscan values, the faculty and staff welcomes students of varied religious, economic and cultural backgrounds. The most affordable, independent, liberal arts university in Michigan, Madonna University is transfer-friendly too.
