About Mesquite Independent School District
Mesquite Independent School District is located in Mesquite, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. We have been in existence for over 100 years. Mesquite's population is approximately 130,000 and we have approximately 34,000 students enrolled.
MISD Community Education was founded in 1992. We offer a wide variety of courses for both residents and non-residents. Classes are taught mostly at our school campuses, but we do have a few which are offered at other local locations. We offer a wide variety of couses ranging from computer to language to dance to personal enrichment to financial to music to painting to career to safety to kids' classes. In short, we offer courses to satisfy the interests of students of all ages and interests.
