I am a volunteer in a Humane Society no-kill facility and this course has been very helpful for me. I am a recently retired RN nurse practitioner so I have a lot of health care education and experience for people and this course provided a lot of practical information for companion animals. It was a pleasure to take this course.

I am in my late 40's, and my mom owned a kennel my whole life, until she passed last year. That being said, I was amazed at the things I remember her doing as I read the lessons, but never really knew exactly why. It was so enlightening. I learned so much that made sense to me, now that I am older. The instructor was very clear, and understanding. My final word is, no matter how long you have been around animals, there is so much to learn in this course. Very well worth your time. Thanks for a wonderful job!

I love this course! The instructor is amazing. He answered all my questions promptly. I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was little. I decided to take this course to see if it was what I really wanted. I wanted an idea of what was involved and wanted to work with my local vet. I will definitely recommend both instructor and course to others. Thanks, Dr Jeff!

This course was absolutely excellent!! I took the class because I love my dogs and wanted to learn how to take better care of them. The instructor reinforced so much of what my own veterinarian has said or done during different life cycles with my dogs. Now I have a MUCH better understanding of why I should take the preventive measures that I should take, the differences in certain medications (flea treatments especially!) and also the hazards and symptoms that I need to watch for with them. Again, it is an excellent class, I would suggest it to anyone looking for great veterinary technician instruction and I look forward to taking the other two modules! Thank you!!

I completely enjoyed every bit of this course! I found that this course explained terms well, gave great insight of what to expect from patients and clients, and taught me very useful information. I have learned so much these past few weeks. I am so excited to learn more! I definitely recommend this course to anyone who is a pet owner and/or pursuing a career in this field! I am confident, without a doubt, that this information will help me become the best Veterinary Assistant I can be.

This course was amazing. The amount of information in the classes was very surprising and Dr. Jeff has a wonderful teaching style. He always answers all questions informatively and promptly. I will be taking the other two courses he teaches. I would recommend this to anyone interested in a career in animal care as well as anyone who has animals and would like to learn how to care for them better.

I loved taking this class from a vet's perspective...I am using this course to hopefully get me a job at a veterinarian office. I feel much more knowledgeable about all matters of a vet's office!

This was my first online course through the library and I am very impressed. The class was informative and entertaining. The assignments, games, and puzzles added a fun element that was also educational. Jeff and the assistant were thorough, knowledgeable, and timely in their reply to questions. I took this course for my own personal use and now I have a whole new lingo and a deeper understanding of our furry friends.

I loved this course. I've always wanted to work in the field of veterinary medicine and this class has definitely helped me learn a lot of topics. I feel as if this course will help me get to where I'd like to be in my career. I also thought that the instructor was very experienced on the subject and very helpful.

This class was made so enjoyable by this instructor. He is one of the most effective communicators and educators I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. He does not give answers, he assists students in learning how and where to find the answers. He makes people think. He was incredibly prompt when responding to posts (be it a question, comment or assignment). It's obvious that he loves what he is doing. This has a huge effect on the material he is teaching and how it comes across the wire to those he is teaching.
