I was energized by the course content and the easy going style and humor of Edward Burns. He brought the course to life and made the course a terrific experience. This is the best online course I ever took. If you ever offer a next level of guitar playing, count me in. Thank you.

I loved Mr. Burns writing style and presentation of this course. I was wondering how a guitar course would be effectively taught online and found that this format worked. I really enjoyed the notes of encouragement as well. I thought that there was a lot of material covered for an introductory course. I have had folk guitar training in the past as well as many years in singing groups, so I was very familiar with much the material beforehand but was afraid that all of the material might be overwhelming for a strict beginner. It was perfect for me. Thank you!

I just want to say that this has been amazing. Like others, I'd love to see a follow-up class to this. I like your writing style, anyone from novice to accomplished musician could learn something from the class. I was very confident coming into it. I learned I had a a lot of bad habits to break and tendencies to overcome...Thanks!

After years of no formal training, I feel like I am on the road from playing notes to making music. This was very enjoyable and helpful! Thanks for helping to improve the quality of my life!

I have taken numerous online courses and this was my all-time favorite! Every portion of the course was excellent! The video and audio instruction, lessons, assignments, discussion area and resources were all very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend this course to others. Thanks to ed2go and to Edward Burns for inspiring me to continue learning classical guitar!

Awesome course! I'm learning so much. This is a perfect no stress way of learning. I have been around guitars and their players all my life. No one has ever linked together stretching and it's importance in gaining agility and relieving strain during practice. Thanks!

The instructor was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject matter. He made an effort to ensure students did not get discouraged. I played guitar in high school and decided this year to pick up the hobby again. This course gave me a great foundation that helped to develop my guitar skills…I definitely hear the progress in my guitar playing after taking this course.

I have attempted other guitar courses that only teach chords. I gave up because of not understanding and immediately lost interest. This course was the best. It covered every question that I have ever had about how to play the guitar correctly, and I can read music now. I am 55 years old and this was my first real guitar course. I am playing the guitar and enjoying it. If anyone out there is wondering whether you can learn to play the guitar at your age, the answer is YES, YOU CAN. Take this course and you will be amazed at how good you can be at playing the guitar.

One of the things which I find so inspiring about this class is the instructor's obvious love and passion for the guitar. It's almost poetic, reading the way he describes things. This helps paint a picture in my mind. It is not just another dry guitar class, but something really beautiful. Thank you for that!

I enjoyed taking the course and looked forward to each class. This is a good introduction to playing guitar regardless of preferred style of music. The course puts a student on a path of productive learning and inspires continued guitar playing. The instructor and course materials were very helpful in learning to play the guitar. I could practice and study at home whenever I wanted to. I'll be signing up for more ed2go guitar classes. Thanks!
