How does it work? Once a session starts, two lessons will be released each week, for the six-week duration of your course. You will have access to all previously released lessons until the course ends.

Keep in mind that the interactive discussion area for each lesson automatically closes 2 weeks after each lesson is released, so you’re encouraged to complete each lesson within two weeks of its release.

The Final Exam will be released on the same day as the last lesson. Once the Final Exam has been released, you will have 2 weeks plus 10 days to complete the Final and finish any remaining lessons in your course. No further extensions can be provided beyond these 10 days.

Lesson 01 - Get Connected to Technology

Wednesday

Are you ready to unleash the power of technology in your classroom? Today's teachers face a lot of new challenges and daily decisions, and one of the most important choices is how to integrate a slew of new technology into the traditional classroom. In our first lesson, you'll learn the important differences between the traditional classroom and the technology-friendly one, and strike a balance with realistic integration plans in a way that enhances your basic educational objectives rather than detracting from them.

Lesson 02 - Learning Styles and Technology

It's time to set up the technology that will benefit all the different learners in your classroom. This lesson will cover the types of technology you'll need to improve student learning based on auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning styles. We'll look at audio devices to help your students who learn by listening. We'll discover projection tools and mapping websites that help your visual students excel. And those hands-on learners will get just what they need to master the next test and have fun learning with your classroom technology presentation station. Let's jump in with both feet and make the most of assistive technology, iPad apps, tablets, student response systems, mind mapping tools, document cameras, projectors, smart TVs, CAT systems, speakers, screen readers, interactive whiteboards, SMART Boards, and much more.
