I will never watch a movie or television program in the same way again! I will be watching for the interesting characters, how soon the script grabs my attention, the conflicts, the mid-point turn, the end-of-the-second-act climax, the progress toward the conclusion and the satisfying (or at least well written) ending! Thank you so much for your great teaching style; I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed this class and what you've taught all of us in a few short weeks.

I have learned an enormous amount in a relatively short time, and I want to let you know that I think you are a fabulous instructor. And because my "grade" doesn't rely upon my high opinion of you, then you must know it's the truth and deeply felt. Thanks so much for being willing to take on the task. I would sign up for any course you ever teach again!

I am amazed at how fortunate we have all been to have had such an outstanding teacher.

First, let me say what a privilege it is for me to be able to declare that I was a student under such an incredible instructor. I took this course thinking that it would give me some insight into the basics of screenwriting. I took this course thinking that maybe with my previous undertakings of ”Get Funny,” and “Breaking Into Sitcom Writing” (which I highly recommend), that I might be able to glean some additional understanding from the information shadow that rarely comes peering from the cracked Hollywood door before slamming shut once again. What I got was a professionally delivered, thorough dissection of practically every aspect known on the topic of screenwriting in a modern day instructional environment. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to Bill Rabkin for undertaking this “labor of love“even just for the sake of the future of the craft itself. An educated professional taking the time to invest in shepherding protégés is very commendable. As a gifted writer and instructor, you have once again proven your dedication.
