Great class - really enjoyed learning Visio and thought the instructor did an excellent job of presenting the information in a comprehensible way. Her introductory comments - which often included a number of analogous descriptions - were very helpful in providing an avenue to comprehension of how one might use Visio and why. I'd love to take more courses from this instructor, and certainly a Visio would be at the top of my list. But I believe she's an excellent instructor so I would seek her out for other classes also.

I very much enjoyed this class. Amy's writing style made the class interesting and fun to read the chapters. I would definitely take another class by this instructor. GREAT JOB!!

We are involved in an in-depth analysis of all of our procedures and policies in search of duplicated or out-dated steps and other areas that waste time and effort. We were instructed to flow-chart everything. Wow. Visio is a life-saver! I have already started flow-charting our processes with Visio. The effect of seeing the steps charted logically really is a powerful tool.

I'm an Amy Westlake fan! Here's why: 1) She has an effective writing style. It serves to get the point across efficiently. Her use of personal stories and humor help ground the material. Focus follows fun, right? 2) It is obvious she has actual industry experience with project management and Visio. I appreciated the additional sections on HOW to use Visio. Ex. Gap analysis, etc. Well Done!

I've learned a lot in 6 short weeks. The program was great! I know what I've learned will come in handy on the job. Thank you for a thorough and yet affordable course!

This class was excellent and better than I expected. Besides learning more than what I thought I would learn by doing the lessons, I also learned a lot by reading the Discussion area. Ms. Westlake did an excellent job of answering questions (although I never asked any myself).

This is an excellent class! I went from no knowledge of Visio to having a firm grasp of it. The lessons are packed with information, but they are very well organized and written in a way that makes learning seem effortless. The instructor does a great job of introducing the most essential features of Visio, and the assignments reinforce the material by having students create diagrams for situations that they have personal experience with. Discussion room questions are answered promptly and thoroughly.

This class was more than I expected. Our department had purchased the software for a staff member to utilize. Since the software was sitting idol and we had the need I decided to take a class to be able to use it. I have two projects that I can now complete using Visio. Once again, this class gave me the information I needed to use the software.

Excellent presentation by Ms. Westlake! I feel I have gained valuable knowledge by completing this course. Visio, being completely new to me, has brought additional value to my resume and future. Thanks for a job well done!

This course was actually fun! It is clear that the instructor enjoys using VISIO and enjoys teaching. I enjoyed learning from her.
