About Red Deer Public Schools
Mission Statement: To enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Red Deer by providing opportunities for life long learning through high quality and affordable community programs.
Red Deer Public Schools Community Programs administration is housed at Linsday Thurber Comprehensive High School.
Life Long Learning Programs are offered for all ages during fall, winter, spring and summer.
Diploma exam preparation classes, designed to assist students preparing for the provincial diploma exams are offered during December/January and May/June.
High School courses are offered during the evening and on a daily basis during summer school. Students receive credit towards their diploma after successfully completing their courses.
Tutorial classes for grades one to nine are offered during the summer.
