About Santa Clara Adult Education
Santa Clara Adult Education (SCAE), in the heart of Silicon Valley, has served the Santa Clara City Community since 1981. The school's catalog of classes is mailed to over 48,000 households four times per year. SCAE’s wide range of quality programs benefits over 11,000 students per year. SCAE is known throughout California for its high quality programs. Five programs offered by SCAE were named “Programs of Excellence” by the California Department of Education (CDE), which is the highest award that can be given to an adult education program in California. These programs are: Adults with Disabilities, Career and Technology Training, Family Literacy, English As A Second Language, and Parent Education.
