8 STEPS TO EARN STATE CONTINUING EDUCATION CLOCK HOURS FOR EDUCATORS:
Step 1: REGISTER AND PAY WITH SCHOOLCRAFT COLLEGE
Complete your registration and payment with Schoolcraft College by the class start date. Visit our Web site at: http://www.schoolcraft.edu/cepd/registration.asp for registration and payment options for your course.
Step 2: COMPLETE ONLINE ENROLLMENT & ORIENTATION
Select your class and start the online enrollment & orientation process. If this is your first Ed2go class, you will need to create a Username and password as part of the enrollment & orientation process (this will be different than your Schoolcraft College UserID and password).
Note: If you register for more than one class, it is mandatory that you complete the online enrollment & orientation for each class. Even if you have taken Ed2go classes previously, online enrollment & orientation is required for each class.
Step 3: ORIENTATION COMPLETION
Print the orientation information for future reference to access your course materials. Your registration & payment at Schoolcraft College along with the completion of online enrollment & orientation through Ed2go will be verified by our staff during regular business hours. Full access to your classroom(s) will be granted to those students who have completed the previous steps.
Step 4: MAINTAIN A LOG OF COURSE HOURS
An activity log will be sent to you by email once you have been verified into the classroom. Record all time spent completing the course. If you do not receive a log sheet, please contact the CEPD office and request one.
Step 5: COMPLETE LESSON QUIZZES
Each lesson concludes with a quiz which must be completed.
Step 6: COMPLETE THE FINAL EXAM
At the completion of the course, you must pass the final exam with an 80% or better score.
Step 7: RETURN COURSE LOG HOURS
Return your activity log to the Continuing Education and Professional Development office at Schoolcraft College.
Step 8: SECURING STATE CONTINUING EDUCATION CLOCK HOURS FOR EDUCATORS
After completion of the above steps, you will receive an email notification that your name has been uploaded to the Secure Central Registry (SCR). Follow the link from that email to complete the process, and access your approval code number.
Failure to complete any of these requirements may delay or rescind your State continuing education clock hours for educators.
