About Center for Economic & Workforce Development at Shasta College
The mission of Economic & Workforce Development (EWD) at Shasta College is to provide quality education and services to the community by challenging our students to develop their intellect, character, develop their abilities and provide an outlet for enjoyment and personal enrichment. We wish to become the premier provider of quality, lifelong learning opportunities, economic workforce needs and upgrading the workforce through adult non-credit and not for credit educational courses and programs.
To accomplish this mission, EWD at Shasta College will provide a quality teaching and learning environment through sound educational programs and diverse services; these will be accessible and responsive to the needs and interests of the people that make up our community.
