About Metropolitan Library System

The Metropolitan Library System is located in Burr Ridge, Illinois and is one of 10 regional systems in Illinois. We are a network of public, school, academic and special libraries voluntarily working together to provide materials and services. Services include continuing education, interlibrary loan, reference services, consulting services, an automated circulation and resource sharing system, to list a few.
