About The University of Akron
The University of Akron, College of Education Outreach and Professional Learning provides professional development workshops for teachers; we partner with educational organizations to provide face-to-face and online programming; and we offer school districts the opportunity to offer graduate credit for PD done in-district. We currently have great partnerships with Educational Service Centers, State Support Teams, companies and school districts in Summit and surrounding counties. All partners work closely with our office to provide quality workshops in technology, teaching standards, curriculum and other professional development.
