About Wake Technical Community College
Wake Technical Community College, based in Raleigh, N.C., is one of the largest colleges in the North Carolina Community College System. Known as "College for the Real World," Wake Tech specializes in skill-based education for working adults.
Each year, Wake Tech offers hundreds of noncredit continuing education courses on the college's multiple campuses and at other community sites. Today, the college also offers selected noncredit continuing education courses on the Internet, through the college's partnership with online education specialists Ed2Go.
Wake Tech's online noncredit continuing education courses are fun, convenient, affordable and designed to help students develop specific skills. If you want to learn a new computer application, pursue a personal interest or master a new business strategy, you will find courses here that can help you meet your goals. Choose the "Online Courses" link below for a complete list of noncredit continuing education courses offered by Wake Tech at this time.
Wake Tech's Ed2Go courses run for eight weeks. (Most Ed2Go courses run for six weeks, with the option of a two week extension. Wake Tech has already added this extension for you!) The lessons are fast-paced, and it is very important that you access course materials regularly and stay on schedule. All lessons must be completed within the eight-week schedule.
Some students prefer curriculum courses, which offer academic credits towards an associate degree, technical diploma or certificate.
