Year 2000 Preparedness Workshop:
1. Year 2000 Problem Overview
Discussion of these critical questions (and hopefully some answers) are the main topics on
interest: What is it, what might happen, where did it come from and how did it happen? Who
will feel the impact? What things are affected and how big is the problem? What's being
done about it (in the U.S. and internationally)? And what about some good news (is there
any?). Who's in charge of fixing the problem and what have they/are they doing about it?
Year 2000 Preparedness Workshop:
2. Problem Definition and Program Plan Initiation
After the Overview course creates an awareness of the Y2k phenomena, this part of the
workshop assists in making sure that YOU (and/or your company and family) develop an
approach to minimize the undesirable consequences of Y2k-related problems. Specifically,
this course provides you with a STRUCTURED, RATIONALE approach that can be implemented. A
major component is proper identification and understanding of all inventory that could be
affected by the Y2k issue and a corresponding strategy for remediation.
