Participate in the Microsoft Access 2010 online course to improve your level of knowledge with Microsoft Access functions, while you prepare to take the Microsoft Certification Exam. The book, The Complete Guide to Microsoft Access 2010 ebook includes both recall and authentic assessments to measure your understanding at an increasingly advanced level. The primary instruction in the Microsoft Access 2010 course is related to business applications of Access, as Microsoft Office is used in almost all workplaces. Nearly every business finds a use for Microsoft Office programs, including inner-office memos composed on Microsoft Word, sales presentations created with Microsoft PowerPoint, and budget spreadsheets compiled in Microsoft Excel. Teachers frequently use Microsoft Office for both teaching preparation and record-keeping as well as in student assignments. Home users may find many uses for Microsoft Office, similar to those used in the workplace. Microsoft Office is a product with great possibilities, and this course aims to familiarize you to such possibilities.
Students for the Microsoft Access 2010 certification tests should have the equivalent of six months of hands-on computer experience before taking the exam. These exam candidates should be proficient at file management. In addition, students should be able to readily identify and use the commands for at least 80% of the exam objectives in preparation for taking the timed exam.
Upon registering, you're given six months to complete this program.
This program can only be taken on a PC. It is not compatible with a Mac. It is compatible with the Windows XP and later operating systems and IE 7 and later browsers. You need a high-speed Internet connection and e-mail account. You should also have the following full-retail version Microsoft Office 2010 Products already installed: Access, Word, and Excel.
It is recommended that you use the latest version of Internet Explorer in place of other Web browsers.

Before you enroll in the Microsoft Access 2010 Certification Training program, you should have strong computer skills and should be comfortable using an Internet browser and selecting commands from a menu or toolbar. You should be able to manage files, including saving, updating, and backing up your files. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
This program is for you if you are an office worker, manager, entrepreneur, or other professional who wants to start using advanced Microsoft Office skills immediately. This program will also suit you if you want to learn about this software and expand your job possibilities.

1. Can I register for programs if I am an international student?
Yes, because ed2go programs are online you never have to actually travel to the school. Most schools offer telephone or online registration.
2. How long does it take to complete a program?
All of our programs are self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start them when you want and finish them at your own pace. Most programs allow you 180 days after your register to complete them.
3. Do I have to buy additional materials?
You must have the Microsoft Access 2010 already installed on your computer before taking this program. This course cannot be completed with the Microsoft Access 2007 or 2003 software programs.
Otherwise, all the materials you need are included, and their cost will be covered in your tuition.
4. Can I get financial assistance?
ed2go courses are non-credit courses, so they do not qualify for federal aid. In some states, vocational rehab or workforce development boards will pay for qualified students to take our courses.
5. What happens when I complete the program?
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate of completion from the school you registered with.
6. Am I guaranteed a job?
ed2go programs will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. We don't provide direct job placement services, but our facilitators and career counselors will help you build your resume and are available to give advice on finding your first job. Facilitators will also be available to use as a professional reference upon completion of the program. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.
7. Who will be my instructor?
Each student is paired up with a facilitator for one-on-one interaction. The facilitator will be available (via e-mail) to answer any questions you may have and to provide feedback on your performance. All of our facilitators are successful working professionals in the fields in which they teach.
8. What software or hardware do I need in order to take online programs and what are the system requirements?
In order to take our online programs, you must have access to a computer and the Internet. You can access the program contents from any Web-enabled computer. You don't have to use the same computer to log-in to the program every time. We recommend that you have a word-processing program (Microsoft Word is best) and the latest version of Internet Explorer.
9. Can I use a Mac?
No, you must access this program from a PC or IBM-compatible computer.
