This teacher professional development course will teach you about rote memorization, a subset of rote learning, and how it can be a valuable addition to a well-rounded educational experience for your students. You will learn how to teach students to recite texts and how recitation can help with close reading and support deeper learning of content. You will also learn how to assess and support an oral presentation.
