The Foothills Adult & Continuing Education Program is a state and locally funded program serving 17 school districts. Both mandated and enrichment courses are offered in a wide variety of subject areas in our 56-page brochure mailed in August and January. Classes are offered free for GED, Adult Basic Education, High School Diploma and Citizenship as well as English as A Second Language and in areas such as: Workplace Education, Workforce Education, Family Literacy, Transition to College, STEM and Technology and Civics. Over 400 enrichment courses are available for computer training, personal growth, arts & crafts, recreation & leisure, dancing, investment, cooking and self improvement. Certification classes in Certified Nurses Aide, EKG, Pistol Safety, Boating, First Aid/CPR and Food Handler's are available each semester.
