GTCC offers engaging continuing education online courses, covering subject
Computer Applications to Teaching and Education. Each course has a listing of the course
description, syllabus, requirements and costs. Your course instructor with be a
subject matter expert and will guide you thru the curriculum information and student
You can access these courses anywhere you have access to the internet at the
times that are most convenient to you. A new session of each course starts
monthly. Courses run for six weeks and are composed of 12 lessons, released on
Wednesdays and Fridays, representing 24 hours of instruction. You will be encouraged
to ask questions of your instructor or fellow online students in your course
discussion boards. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able
to download a certificate of completion.

GTCC offers approximately 150 continuing education online
courses in the 12 subject categories listed in the upper left hand corner of this page.
is the next session start date and how do I register for a course?
Go to the GTCC ed2go Home page and select “View Catalog.”
Search for the course you
are interested in by title or by subject category.
Click on the course title to review the course “Detail, Syllabus, Requirements
and Student Reviews.”
Click on the "Add To Cart" button,
selecting the “Session Date” of your choice, and then “Continue to Checkout.”
You will then need to either
login as a “Returning Student” or a “New Student” if you have not already done
Select “Continue to Checkout.”
Read carefully the information and print if possible, the information
you receive at the end of the enrollment process.
do the courses cost and how do I pay for a class?
course cost start at $78.00.
you register for a course in ed2go, you will receive an email from GTCC with instructions detailing payment options.
has to be received two days before the course
do I access my online course and where do I purchase my book?
will receive a welcome email on the course start date after your registration
and payment information has been verified.
ed2go and click on “My Classroom” and sign in with the user name
and password you created to register for the course in ed2go.
textbook is required to be purchased from the GTCC bookstore.
is successful completion of the course determined and can I receive CEU’s?
of the 12 lessons will have a quiz.
will need to take 10 out of the 12 quizzes, which must include quizzes #1
must make a grade of 80% or greater on the first attempt of the
final exam to be eligible to receive a satisfactory grade at GTCC and be
eligible to print a certificate of completion.
ed2go courses are 24 hours (2.4 CEU’s) unless otherwise noted. If you are
seeking CEU credits, confirm with your licensing issuer if the courses you have
chosen meet the needed CEU credit requirement.
