About The Instructor
Katherine Timer is a skilled graphic designer, illustrator, and educator, who has taught for over 15 years as a creative professional. Her extensive experience includes working in medical illustration, graphic design, logo development, branding, and online promotions. She is currently a design specialist for UWorld, a leader in online learning tools, and an instructor at the Art Institute of Dallas. Previously, she taught at Dallas County Community College and the University of North Texas, amongst other institutions. She graduated from the Tyler School of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting and the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Master of Fine Art in computer art.
