The memory palace, also called the memory mansion, mental palace, or mind palace method, is a mnemonic tool that you can use to enhance your memorization of ideas. It assists you in creating vivid imagery in your mind as you work to memorize increasingly long and complex concepts. In this teacher professional development course, you will learn more about how spatial memory works and how the memory palace can support memorization. Then, you will learn a method for teaching this strategy to your students to enhance their memories while studying concepts for your classroom. The course comes with a downloadable PDF of the content and a graphic organizer that supports you in teaching this memorization technique to your students.
