In partnership with Model Teaching, an industry leader in supporting educators, this course will teach you how to integrate some simple study skills into your lesson using a method called the notecard system. Model Teaching's Mission is to improve student performance by directly supporting teachers with quality content and resources. You will learn how to create objective-aligned questions that can be organized into a set of notecards for students to study. You will also learn some support strategies to help students practice their studying skills.
This teacher professional development course will teach you about the significance of incorporating study skills into your regular lessons. You will learn how to create an effective notecard system consisting of daily questions students must study, and you will learn how to teach students to practice their study skills and maintain their study system.
