About The Instructor
Wendy Troger
Wendy Troger holds a bachelor's degree in fine art, with an earlier career focused on graphic design, which led to a 30-year career in educational publishing. However, her true passion has always been gardening. Wendy's love for gardening began in her youth when she assisted in tending her family's lawn and garden. As an avid gardener, she and her husband built and landscaped their home in upstate New York, and she has spent years designing, planting, and growing a variety of gardens in her community and beyond. Upon retirement from publishing, Wendy decided to follow her passion and become a master gardener. She is now in her second year as a master gardener and has worked with several local nurseries, community gardens, and landscape businesses to help others beautify their garden spaces. Wendy currently works as a site lead at a nursery in upstate New York, where she continues to share her knowledge and love of gardening with others.
