In partnership with Model Teaching, an industry leader in supporting educators, this course teaches you classroom management through a student-led approach by addressing the designing of expectations and natural consequences in your classroom. Model Teaching's mission is to improve student performance by directly supporting teachers with quality content and resources. You will also learn how to track behaviors, hold students accountable, and communicate behavioral issues and progress to families and campus specialists.
This teacher professional development course will teach you about various aspects of classroom management by considering individual students and their needs in a student-led approach. You will learn about designing classroom expectations and aligning natural consequences, building action plans, tracking student behaviors, and implementing strategies to hold students accountable. You will also explore how to communicate behaviors and progress to parents and campus specialists.
During your course, you will build a classroom management plan that is ready to be implemented in the classroom and gain access to many resources and planning documents provided within the course.
