Kerala Ayurveda Academy aligns our program requirements with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), the largest organization representing the Ayurvedic industry in the United States. It is important for Ayurvedic students of professional programs to have adequate knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology. The equivalent of 4 college level Anatomy and Physiology credits are required as a corequisite for Kerala Ayurveda Academy's level I Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC). The equivalent of 6 college level Anatomy and Physiology credits are required as a corequisite for Kerala Ayurveda Academy's level II Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP) and level III Ayurvedic Doctor (AD) certification programs. Students are required to provide proof of Anatomy and Physiology course completion to receive these program certifications.
If you have completed less than 4 credits or have not taken any formal Anatomy and Physiology training, Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology I & II- 3-courses total (total 72 hrs.) is available. The fee is $300 total ($100 each), and courses are taken entirely online.
You are allowed up to 3 months for each course.
If you have completed less than 6 credits or have not taken any formal Anatomy and Physiology training, Medical Terminology I & II and Anatomy and Physiology I & II- 4-courses total (total 96 hrs.) is available. The fee is $400 total ($100 each), and courses are taken entirely online.
