About Metropolitan Library System

Service DISCONTINUED, effective July 1, 2010. June 16, 2010 is the last session supported by MLS. The Metropolitan Library System is located in Burr Ridge, Illinois and is one of 10 regional systems in Illinois. We are a network of public, school, academic and special libraries voluntarily working together to provide materials and services. Services include continuing education, interlibrary loan, reference services, consulting services, an automated circulation and resource sharing system, to list a few.


Current students: Please direct questions about your lessons, quizzes, assignments, and other course materials to your instructor or course administrator. You can use the course discussion areas for this purpose.

If you have questions about accessing the online classroom, retrieving your lessons, changing your password, correcting your e-mail address, obtaining progress reports or completion letters, receiving an extension, or any other administrative tasks, visit our Help page.
