Welcome to Ed2Go at BCCC!

These courses are designed to meet individual's needs and interests by enabling learners to take classes in the comfort of their own homes. You can study at a time that is most convenient for you, without the need for attending classes on campus.

Personal Development Fundamentals (ILC) Courses

• Many classes consist of two (2) lessons per week for a total of twelve (12) lessons or the equivalent of twenty-four (24) contact hours for 2.4 CEU credits.
• Please remember, the only time constraints associated with BCCC’s Continuing Education online classes is that all lessons must be completed during the eight-week period your class is offered.
• Students taking online classes must be at least 16 years of age.
• Most classes begin at $70.00! - Fees are waived for all active FIRST RESPONDERS and those eligible for the HRD-Human Resources Development waiver (more information below).
• You can sign up for classes in future sessions but it is not recommended that you take more than one class at a time.

THE REGISTRATION PROCESS

• STEP 1. Go to http://www.ed2go.com/beaufortccc/ and browse the featured classes or use the search bar.
• STEP 2. Select a class and choose "Add to Cart."
• STEP 3. Choose a Start Data and begin the checkout process.
• STEP 4. Log-in with your Ed2Go username and password OR if this is your first time, you will need to complete the Create a New Account process.
• STEP 5. Review your selection and choose "Complete Enrollment"
• STEP 6. Pay by calling the BCCC Continuing Education Registration & Records clerk at (252) 940-6375.

    • Grant Writing Consultant, Veterinary Assistant, Physical Therapy Aid, Optical Assistant
  • Job Search/Preparation:
    • Resume Writing Workshop, 12 Steps to a Successful Job Search, Everyday Math, GED Preparation, Grammar Refresher, Prepare for GED Math Test
  • Soft Skills:
    • Skills for Making Great Decisions, Building Teams that Work, Keys to Effective Communication, Customer Service Fundamentals, Individual Excellence, Interpersonal Communication, Leadership, Mastering Public Speaking
  • Technical Skills: 
    • Computer Skills for the Workplace, Intro to Microsoft Outlook, Intro to Microsoft Word, Intro to Powerpoint, Keyboarding
  • Other Classes Include: 
    • Introduction to Interior Design & Personal Finance
      
• Eligible FIRST RESPONDERS classes include those related to administrative or leadership job duties. Examples include Grant Writing, Teambuilding, Leadership, Communication, Supervision & Management, Microsoft, 
•  While the course is fee waived you still need to call in to the BCCC Continuing Ed Registration Office at (252) 940-6375 prior to the start date of the class to complete your registration.
• HRD Eligibility is determined by unemployed, underemployed, received notification of pending layoff, are working and eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (FEITC) or are working and earning wages at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Please Note: Late registrations/payments or failure to complete your quiz may result in interruption to course access and/or transfer to the following month's start date.

COMPLETING YOU CLASS

• After you have payed you will be verified by BCCC staff in the the Ed2Go Portal.
• Once your class has started you will receive an email with detailed instructions on the expectations and deadlines of your specific course.
• In order to earn credit for the course you must complete all requirements by the stated deadlines. If completed successfully you will receive a Certificate of Completion detailing your CE Credits approximately one week after the session is completed.
