In more than a half-century evolutionary journey, BridgeValley Community and Technical College has developed from its seminal beginning in 1953 as the tentative associate degree offerings of West Virginia State College and West Virginia Institute of Technology to a vibrant, independent community and technical college combining the strengths of Kanawha Valley Community and Technical College and Bridgemont Community and Technical College in the spring of 2014. BridgeValley serves the state’s largest metropolitan area.
BridgeValley provides a broad spectrum of associate degrees, certificates, industry certifications, skill sets, continuing education, community services, employee training, developmental and transfer education. As well as associate degree programs, certificate programs, collaborative degree programs, and a variety of skill-set certificates, BridgeValley offers customized credit and non-credit training for business and industry through its Workforce and Economic Development Division.
BridgeValley has two campus locations: 2001 Union Carbide Drive, South Charleston, WV 25302 and 619 2nd Avenue, Montgomery, WV 25136.
