Act 48 Hours for Pennsylvania Educators Pennsylvania educators who successfully complete a course within the Teacher Professional Development collection are eligible to receive Act 48 professional development hours through CCIU. Courses outside of the Teacher Professional Development collection may also qualify for Act 48 hours based on their relevance to the educator's current role and professional responsibilities. Upon successful course completion, educators may submit an Act 48 Request Form, including their certificate of completion, for CCIU review.
