Northwestern Connecticut Community College (NCCC), a member of the Connecticut Community College System, is a two-year coeducational institution located in beautiful Litchfield County in the town of Winsted, Connecticut. Winsted is situated in the northwestern region of Connecticut, twenty five miles west of Hartford and twenty seven miles north of Waterbury. NCCC is governed by the State of Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education and offers programs of study which lead to the Associate in Arts degree, the Associate in Science degree, plus credit and non-credit Certificates. NCCC is distinguished among Connecticut Community Colleges in that it offers a unique academic support program for deaf and hard-of-hearing students through the Collegiate Education for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CEDHH) department. NCCC serves as a cultural center for the region providing concerts, dramatic productions, film programs, and art exhibits. Ed2Go online courses are non-credit, adult education courses.
