Elgin Community College (ECC) has partnered with ed2go to offer hundreds of interactive online noncredit courses that you can complete entirely on the Internet anytime, anywhere. These "Fundamentals" online courses teach basic skills for professional development or personal enrichment. They are taught by experts who teach in an enjoyable and educational way. Our online courses are affordable and fit into your busy schedule. These online courses are offered either as "instructor led" meaning a live instructor is available for feedback and interaction via ed2go's Discussion Area or as "self paced" meaning you have access to the course material and complete it at your own pace.
We are located in Elgin, Illinois, but you do not have to be located in our college district to enroll in noncredit Ed2Go courses through us. There is no out-of-district fee for students taking these noncredit online classes.
We have improved our Registration Process to make it as easy as possible whether you are a new or returning student!
1. Browse the online course catalog as displayed on the left side of this page.
2. Choose a class that you are interested in.
3. Click on the "Enroll Now" button.
4. Follow the screen directions to register and make payment for your course.
5. Note the start date of your course.
Once ed2go has accepted your registration information and payment, you are ready to begin your course on the start date provided.
Important: Students are registering and paying for these noncredit courses directly through ed2go. Students who successfully complete these courses receive a Certificate of Completion from ed2go. Completed courses will not appear on ECC transcripts.
