The Sikeston Career and Technology Center, Adult and Community Education Program is dedicated to lifelong involvement in education. Lifelong education becomes increasingly important as changes in society demand updated knowledge, new skills, and leisure time activities. People of all ages are looking for opportunities conviently located within financial and geographic reach. These activities should help meet their needs and interests for self and community inprovement. Sikeston Career and Technology Center, Adult and Community Education will serve persons of all ages (children, youth, and adults) to provide educational, vocational, recreational, cultural, and other related community services. The Adult and Community Education Program will provide opportunities for the members of the community to plan together, share ideas, and use all available human and physical resources to develop their full potential. The curriculum and activities of the Adult and Community Education Program will evolve from the basic wants and needs of the people served.
