The University of West Florida was established in 1963 and currently enrolls almost 13,000 students. UWF’s main campus is located just ten miles north of downtown Pensacola, Fla.
UWF's Division of Continuing Education is a premier regional provider of educational and training services to non-traditional students. We enroll a diverse and talented group of students interested in the pursuit of lifelong learning. These students include executives, professionals, career changers, those seeking licensure and/or certification, educators, high-tech employees, military, youth and those over 55.
Our mission is to provide high quality credit and non-credit education and training opportunities to meet individual, community, and professional needs of non-traditional learners and to participate in valuable community educational partnerships that advance the economy in the region. We invest strategically to create programs that meet the needs of the regional and state workforce and develops highly qualified personnel to engage students in high-impact learning experiences.
