Vegas PBS

Welcome to the Vegas PBS Professional Development Portal for Educators

Vegas PBS offers several high-quality courses approved by the Nevada Department of Education for your professional development training.  Our online courses are affordable, convenient, and geared to support your professional growth. Each course listed in the catalog is facilitated by an expert instructor with monthly start dates.

The Nevada Department of Education has approved each course in the portal for relicensure.

For licensed employees in the Clark County School District, successfully completed courses that relate to a licensed employee's position/license may accrue Contact Units (CUs) for salary advancement. The auto-generated certificates, along with the tracking document available through Ed2Go can be submitted to ELMS for CUs.

** Please note - certificates for ed2go self-paced courses will not provided. **

In order to successfully complete the course, you will need to ensure you score a 70% or higher on the Final Exam. Please be advised: upon access and submission, the final exam must be passed on the first attempt in order to be eligible for a certificate of completion.

Upon successful completion of your course:

  • Nevada Department of Education Relicensure
    • Courses completed beginning with the August 2020 session, please request a certificate from Vegas PBS at [email protected]. ** Certificates created will reflect the actual amount of hours spent in the online course up to a maximum of 24 hours **
    • Courses completed prior to the August 2020 session, please request a certificate from Vegas PBS at [email protected].
    • For questions regarding the number of hours needed for licensure renewal, or guidance on appropriate courses for your license, please contact the NV DOE.
  •  CCSD Contact Units (CUs)

** (702) 799-4747 or via CCSD Google email at “[email protected] **

** Please note: To ensure continued approvals and alignment with state licensure hour requirements and CCSD Contact Unit (CU) hour requirements, beginning with the August 2020 sessions, Twenty four hours will NO LONGER be automatically reflected on the certificate of completion. Individuals are solely responsible for ensuring the number of hours needed toward re-licensure and CU obtainment.

To learn how to track your time, and to obtain the necessary document for evidence of hours, please utilize the following document - "How to track time". All time within the course web environment is automatically logged and this will be the number of hours, up to a total of 24, that can be reported.

Due to a change in state requirements, NDE “codes” will no longer be required on the certificates, only the number of actual hours spent toward completion of the course work as represented in the online tracking system.

Thank you for choosing Vegas PBS for your professional development training. We look forward to joining you in your educational journey!
