The Vancouver Regional Construction Association represents more than 700 union and non-union contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and professionals throughout the construction industry, and fulfills the following roles: Information resource: VRCA is the principal voice for all construction project information - from industry analysis to project dissemination - for its members, government and the public. Industry standards: VRCA promotes and improves standards in the industry, upholding the values, ethics and professionalism associated with the modern construction industry. Standardization: VRCA encourages the use of standard documents and industry-accepted standard tendering and contracting practices. Education and training: VRCA develops and advances education and training programs for the benefit of the construction industry. Member relations: VRCA maintains and improves relations between members and purchasers of construction services, consultants, all levels of government, other related associations and industries and the general public.
