Anyone can enroll in the online classes from anywhere in the U.S. that is 18 years of age and older!


This easy access to the online instruction center offers over 300 courses that begin on the 3rd Wednesday of each month except during the month of November and December. During these months, the online courses will begin on the 2nd Wednesday.

To enroll in a course, click the "Courses" LINK at the top of this screen.This a mandatory process that will allow you to create a username and password to enter your course.
Please note that this is only the the online enrollment and does not constitute registration with Johnston Community College. You must pay and register to be considered enrolled using the JCC registration form along with your payment. See registration below.

Books
Books for online courses are not stocked in the JCC Bookstore. Please use the link in your orientation to purchase books. Note: Only a few courses require books. Please refer to the requirements section during orientation. When purchasing books online, please allow 7-14 days to receive your books before registering for your course. Example: "Medical Coding".Thank you.

FREE:
Online computer courses are free to N.C. residents age 65 or older unless the classes are coded as SEF-3001. Look for this code when you click the "Enroll Now" button.If you don't see this code, give us a call at either number listed below. Seniors are allowed to take up to only 4 classes per semester.

Completion Certificate Requirements
To print or receive a certificate of completion from JCC or Ed2go, you must complete quiz 1 by the 10% point which is the first Friday following your first lesson AND you must also complete the final exam by passing with 70% or higher. Failure to complete both requirements will result in no Continuing Education credit for taking your class.

REGISTRATION: Get Enrolled
You MUSTcomplete the Johnston Community College registration form along with your payment 5 business days before the class begins for payment processing. Registrations received after the start date cannot be processed until the next starting date.
