1.  January 18, 2011 online course enrollment and registration is CLOSED.
Please forward your registration form and payment to the next online 
course start date February 15, 2011 .

2.  REQUIRED for Completion: Certificate and JCC Credit (2.4 CEUs)

To print or receive a certificate of completition and credit from JCC, you MUST complete Quiz 1 from Lesson 1 by the census date (10% point) which is the first Friday following your start date.  Also, you must complete the final exam by passing with a 70% or higher and 85% or higher for certificate programs.  Failure to complete both requirements will result in no Continuing Education credit for taking  your class.  (An email will be sent to you as a reminder from our staff at JCC immediately upon your start date)

 **Your online course may state otherwise for your quizzes.   However, our Quiz 1 requirement is for Continuing Education (CEU) credit with JCC that will go toward a future transcript if desired and recorded in our system.

3.  Seniors are allowed to take only one FREE class per semester (Spring, Summer, and Fall)

Online computer courses are FREE to N.C. residents age 65 and older unless the class is coded as  CSP-4000.  Look for this code when you click the "Enroll Now" button.  Please make sure that you complete the registration  form in addition to the online enrollment.

4.  Books for online courses are NOT stocked in the JCC Bookstore

Please refer to the link in the requirements section during your orientation to purchase books.  Note: Only a few courses require books.  When purchasing books online, please allow 7-14 days to receive your books before registering for your course.  ie: Medical Coding.

5.  Underage Students

Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old must complete a dual enrollment form and have it signed by all parties including JCC's President PRIOR to the course start date.

Registration Procedures

Step 1: Online Enrollment (Creating access to your online classroom)

To enroll in a course, you may browse the course catalog on the left of your screen
by area or search the catalog for a specific course at the top of this screen.  Once you have selected your course, click the "Enroll Now" button to complete the online enrollment process.  This is a mandatory process that will allow you to create a username and password to enter your course.  This is NOT registration with JCC. (See step 2 below)

Step 2: Registration and Payment

You MUST complete the JCC registration form along with your payment 5 business days (EST) before the class begins for payment processing.  Registrations received after the start date cannot be processed until the next course start date.

**Please Note: If paying by credit card, please provide a contact number on registration form to receive a phone call to process your payment.

Mail check or money order with form to address at top of the form to be received 5 business days (EST) before the class begins.
